Who else will be there?
A small group of women, usually eight to ten, in a similar place in life. Most people come on their own and don't know anyone beforehand. That's normal here, and it's part of what makes it work. Luminous is about connection, and the weekend is designed to bring people together.
Will I feel awkward if I come alone?
The weekend is hosted throughout, so you won't feel on your own. The first evening starts with introductions so everyone has the chance to get to know each other, and there is plenty of free time over the weekend to chat amongst the group.
Do I need to be into yoga?
No. The practices are gentle and nothing requires experience. Some guests will have a practice, most won't. Everything is optional, and some people come for the hotel, the spa and the company.
What if I don't want to do the group activities?
Everything is optional. If you'd rather sleep in, spend the day in the spa or have room service, that's absolutely fine. You choose what works best for you on the day.
Do I have to share a room?
No. Every weekend is priced per person for your own room. Coming with a friend? Get in touch and we'll arrange a shared room for you.
What's included in the price?
Accommodation, breakfast each morning, dinner each evening, spa and thermal facility access, and all wellness practices.
What's not included?
Treatments, lunch and drinks. Treatments are optional and paid directly to the hotel. We'd be happy to help organise these for you if that makes life easier.
What are the booking and cancellation terms?
A €300 deposit secures your place. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due six weeks before the weekend. If you cancel more than six weeks out, everything except the deposit is refunded. If you cancel within six weeks, the balance cannot be refunded, but you are welcome to pass your place to a friend. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or change a weekend, you will receive a full refund of everything paid, including the deposit.
